Mrs. Napier, our son was involved in a drunk driving accident in October of 2011. His best friend who was driving was killed and our son was in ICU for 8 days, the hospital another 7 days and physical rehab for two weeks. He was diagnosed with multiple facial fractures, broken ribs, a broken pelvis, skull fractures, lacerated liver and punctured bladder. The young man who hit them is still out free as the Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement has yet to serve a warrant for his arrest. Any help you could offer on how we should deal with this is appreciated. The anger, frustration and just general disgust at how slow the system is seems to be taking over every waking moment of my life. I can see how it has changed my son and the anger he has buried within (especially the way he misses his friend). This accident changed so many lives in so many ways and it was so senseless; that is what I hate, that it did not have to happen. This happened due to that one boy's choice and now many, many people's lives are suffering.

Thank you for the work you are doing to educate people on the awful consequences of such a senseless act of one person and how they can prevent it by not drinking and driving.

Dear Mrs. Napier I think that this is a amazing website, it's showing and telling you about the whole story.
And when you cameto Dixie County HIgh school. Through the wholething I honestly cried , because it really got to me. I urge othes not to drink in drive, because it's wrong to do. Anyjust because you think you okay doesn't mean you are. And when you do drink and drive your putting yourselfin danger. Possibly others. Well that whatI had to say and Mrs. Napiere Im so very very sorry your your lost.
