Message: Ms. Napier,
Thank you so much for visiting our school today, as a junior at GCHS I've been faced with many situations including driving under the influence. Before today I thought that something like this could never happen to me, but your presentation has inspired me to never drive under the influence. I will from now on plan ahead and never drive under the influence. The way that you are spreading the word about your daughters story is so inspirational and is a big wake up call to all of us. Thank you again for sharing out story with us and from now on whenever I may be in a situation involving alcohol I will think of you and make a plan to get home safely.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayer

I'm so glad you could take the worst and put the hard feelings aside and use it to teach a lesson to other people. I really appreciated the fact that Eric also told his side of the story. Thank you so much!

Message: I really appreciate you both coming to my school yesterday and speaking to all of us. That was definitely the best assembly we have ever had at our school, and it really opened up my eyes to what can really happen. There are of course so many stories like these that happen all the time but to be able to actually sit in and listen to both you and Eric talk to us was a true testament of how life can change drastically in a second. I couldn't believe that Eric was actually there and able to talk to us all and tell us the whole story but I'm so glad he was. You both are really strong people and I honestly don't ever think I would be able to talk to so many kids about such a tragedy.
I was so shocked when you said that you told Eric that you forgive him and had his sentence reduced and have accepted him as a member of your family. You are a very strong, inspirational women.
Again, I'm very sorry for your loss and I wish you the best. Meagan was a very lucky young lady to have you as a mother.
