Message: I heard your story my senior year in 2009, i remember at the time being touched by it but also thinking i would never be affected by something like this. i thought my life was invincible as well as the ones i love. Well this October that all changed when my cousin was hit by a drunk traveling at a high speed after leaving a bar at FSU. The driver was over triple the legal limit. that pain is unreal Brooks was more than just my cousin we were so close he was my big brother! Knowing that the person who hit him is at home continuing his life right is gut wrenching and i cant wait for the day this kid serves his time. Looking back i am so thankful for that presentation, i pray that you continue to speak to students and they listen with an open heart and realize how dangerous this is! Thank you for what you are doing for all of us who have lost ones due to drunk drivers
