Message: Thank you very much for speaking at East Lake High School. You made a difference in my life to not even think about drinking at all. I am terrified to drink and even drive afterward. Thank you for touching our hearts with your story. It will be spread on to my future children how a mistake can change everything.

Message: I just want to say I am sorry for your loss. My daughter Meagan was seriously injured in a crash her Junior year in High School in when a car went left of center and hit her car head-on. It took many months of rehabilitation and she will forever live with the physical and emotional scars. The 20 yr old man that hit her had previous failure to control accidents/citations and had prior convictions with drugs. He was in possession of alcohol in his vehicle the day of the crash, but was never tested when arriving at the hospital (as explained by the state police). We do however, suspect he was under the influence that day. I share your pain and your website brought tears to my eyes, as I could see the love you had for your daughter. I am grateful that my daughter is alive, but the sense of frustration still exists; of why this had to happen. God bless you and your family and the family of Lisa Dickson.

Message: Thank you for taking the time to come to my daughter's school today. When I got home this evening, she told me about the whole program today, and she was really touched by it. So, here we are watching the videos and reading all about this tragic loss. I appreciate it because I know these kids are going to be curious about drinking and that I as a mother can only warn my kids about what may happen, but your story really hit home for her. So for that I am truly grateful! May God bless you and your families and thanks for being a blessing to us!
