Message: I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you Renee, for coming to Baker County High School today and sharing your story. That was the most touching, and inspiring story that I've ever heard. You have without a doubt in mind, changed the way I think and picture life. Your such a strong person for being able to do what you do. And I find it AMAZING that your sharing your story, and letting Eric be apart of it all. That, in my eyes takes one strong willed, good hearted person to be able to do something like that. I've heard the word forgiveness, a million times. But you have truely opened my eyes as to what it really means. I could never imagine going through something so heartbreaking, and having the attitude and outlook that you have. That shows just how much of an amazing person that you are, and im sure your daughter was just the same. I didnt make my way down to hug you after the assembly, even though I wanted too. I hope God continues to bless you and your wonderful family as much as he possibly can. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. You have touched my heart, and it WILL be something I carry for the rest of my life. And I can promise you, that I will be more cautious and aware of what Im doing now, all thanks to you and your story. Again, THANK YOU so much for coming to talk to our school, it was more than needed, and I cant hope enough, that it touches everyone else the way it touched me. Thank you.

Message: Hi,
My name is Deanna Alexander and i am 15.
I attend Baker County High School. You came to my school today and i was so very deeply touched by your daughters story.
I KNOW God made the crash happen but i think he allowed it to happen for his glory and to show how mighty he is!!!!!
You are so very strong and courageous to stand up and tell your story ( in my eyes, a testimony) I will be praying for you and your family.
I know it has to be difficult but like you said "wake up and quote scriptures "this is the day that the Lord has made i will rejoice and be glad in it" That is so wonderful. When you get a chance to talk to Eric again tell him that God loves him so much and he forgives him. It is not his fault! Satan had a plan that night and he got his way by killing those two precious young ladies but GOD had a bigger plan by turning this accident into a glorious testimony! I am so very proud of Eric for his love and his forgiveness. Thank God he has not given up and i am so grateful he shows his love by telling that story. I know it must be hard but i know jesus gives him strength. I know you said that you would live to hear young kids promise to never drink and drive and mean it. So... I mean this with all of my heart. I PROMISE BEFORE YOU AND THE LORD TO NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE. I love you all so much and I thank you so much for your story. Love, Deanna Bree Alexander.
