Message: Love you Renee, for everything you have done and for turning a negative attitude into an attitude that can not only provide help and knowledge about the effects of drunk driving but a personal message that you say so well. As you know, there is a rock in my sorority's house that is for Meagan and Lisa and every time I see that rock I get a little lump in my throat but every time it reminds me to be safe. Thank you for instilling this into my life and I wish only the best :).

Message: I wanted to thank you for coming to speak to us today at Marianna High School. You and Eric both are very brave. You are taking a tragic accident and turning it into a positive thing to try and help others. I personally have always been against drunk driving and your story today really touched me, my best friend was hit from behind by a drunk driver last year, and was inches from wrapping herself around a tree so this really hit home for me. God bless you and your family. Thank you!

Message: Hey my name is Allison. I was at the assembly for Tate this morning. Let me just start by saying, you and Eric touched a part of my heart that has truly made a difference in my life. I do not drink and do not intend to. If I do later in life I WILL NEVER drive I can promise you that right now. But not only did I get that message from what you said, but also not to take life for granted. All the little things. We all have bad days. But when you step back and look at the big picture and what all you have and the people around you that love you so much, all the small fights and problems we face in everyday life amount to absolutely nothing. So much we look down with frowns on our faces about the little things. From now on, I'm going to brush all the little things off and smile and be happy I wake up each and every morning. That I'm so lucky not to have been involved in anything as horrific as what you've gone through. That my family hasn't had to receive that phone call. I thank you soo very much for coming to Tate and talking to us. That's all I had on my mind the entire day. You've truly changed my life. I'll never forget today :)
