Message: Thank you so much for coming to Tate High School today. You really touched all of our hearts. I've never had a tragedy like this one happen to me but, my mothers, mom got hit by a car, and the car took off. This happened before I was born, I never got to meet her. Eric talking to us was a real eye opener to most of us. You could really feel his pain and suffering that you have been through also. I will never forget today. You are a very strong person, and admire you a lot. Thanks so much again. You and Eric are in my prayers. :)

Message: You came to Tate High today and at first I really was not sure I wanted to be there because I thought it was going to be just another "don't drink and drive" lecture that everyone always gets from parents and adults. But this was a REAL story... I think that may be why it really struck home. Eric was so heart broken over what he had done, so I understand how you can say you Love him. He sounds like a really good Man. My father that I had never met was a drunk driver and ran over a police officer. He went to prison but it was a short time of maybe 2 years. I didn't think about this until after the assembly but if my dad would have killed him, I would have never met my dad In November of 2010. It put a knot in my throat. I look up to you as a great mom&romodel as well. Your daughter(s) are very lucky. I would give anything to have a mother like you. I have my Grandmother and an Aunt to look up to as a Woman Role Model in my family. But now I have you. I hope something like this never happens to me... But I have to say if it ever does, I can think back on your story, Because this is something I will NEVER forget.
I thank you soooo soooo much for coming today! And I think our younger students would love to hear yall's story. Keep spreading the story and it will make a change... More than it already has.

Your a very strong women, to be able to get there and talk about this incident. i wouldn't be able to do it. I will never let another person drive while drunk again. I wish i could of talked to Eric about somethings to but there wasnt enough time, but he also inspired me. Thank you for coming to the school today and talking with us all. It opened a lot of people's eyes. I hope things get better for you and your family. Thank you.

Message: I was at the presentation that you did today at Tate High School. It was very impressive, and if I was you I don't think I would have had the courage to get up there and do what you did. You are a very strong lady. I honor you for being able to get up there infront of soooo many people and do what you do. My cousin died in 2006 because of a drunk driver. I wasn't really close to her, and only met her once but she was still a part of my family. But I still can't imagine how you do it. Just stay strong! <3 And spread your story everywhere, I know that I am thinking a lot about your story! Once again, thank you so much for coming to our school and spreading your message and story.
