Message: I think about you, your loved ones, and Eric Smallridge everyday. I think and pray that God may help him everyday, to get stronger in his faith, and to continue to have that strong, continual forgiveness shed on him. I pray for Mrs. Napier, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Smallridge. I do want to thank Mrs. Napier and Eric so much for bringing the program to Lake Placid High School, and to so many others...It moved me the entire program. I am driving now with my permit, and I PROMISE I will NEVER drink and drive. Love to all, Mrs. Napier, Eric, Mr. and Mrs. Smallridge, and to all the others who have seen and heard about this tradegy, as well as losing a loved one. May God bless all.

Message: I just watched and looked through every thing on this website..it brought tears to my eyes, thinking about losing a friend or two even breaks my heart. I know people that have been killed by drunk drivers and its not fair. I think what Eric is surving isnt enough. You forgave him, which is understandable because you need to let your daughter rest in peace but he took away your life and someone elses life. 22 years is not enough. But what your doing is strong and brave! dont ever give up! xo

Message: Hey, I first heard y'all's story on the JoyFM when Matthew West met you about the song he wrote. After hearing your story and song, I had to find out more. And I think your story is incredible. Forgiveness is such an impossible thought sometimes, but I know it can only come from God. My sister-in-law's father was killed while riding his motorcyle into work about a month and half ago. A semi-truck crossed over the median and hit him dead on. His wife is going through an impossible time, and the anger she has towards this driver scares me. She believes in God, but her faith is far from where it should be. If you have any adivce for me to give her, I would love to hear it, and please keep her in your prayers as you and your family will be in mine. I just want her to have the freedom and joy forgiveness can bring. Much love to you, Eric, and your families, as well as Lisa's family; God bless.
